Copper & Iron Plumbing – Callum

I first engaged Callum from Copper & Iron Plumbing to investigate and repair a leaking toilet that had quietly been wasting water and costing me far more than I realised.

From the beginning, Callum was professional, easy to deal with and quick to respond. What impressed me immediately was his willingness to attend on a Saturday to sort the issue out, which made a stressful situation much easier to manage. He quickly identified the problem, explained everything clearly and had the toilet repaired efficiently.

I thought that would be the end of my plumbing drama for the weekend.

However, only a few hours after Callum had left, I suddenly heard water pouring through my kitchen. A pipe beneath the kitchen sink had burst and flooded the entire area. Thankfully I was home at the time and was able to turn the water off at the mains, but it was still an incredibly stressful situation and not something I had anticipated dealing with.

I contacted Callum immediately and his response was exceptional. Despite already attending earlier that day, he returned within approximately 30 minutes to help. That level of responsiveness and reliability is rare to find.

Callum promptly assessed the damage, replaced the failed pipework and had everything back up and running in no time. Throughout both callouts he remained calm, knowledgeable and reassuring, taking the stress out of what could have become a much larger issue.

What stood out most to me was not only his plumbing knowledge and workmanship, but also his genuine commitment to helping his customers when they need it most. It is clear that he takes pride in providing reliable service and quality work rather than simply completing a job and moving on.
