I cannot recommend Alex and the team at Urban Earth Landscape highly enough.

This job was particularly meaningful, as the garden belonged to my neighbour who had recently passed away. His daughter lives in New York and unfortunately wasn’t able to return home to manage the property herself. The garden had been untouched for years and had become completely overgrown, making the task both physically demanding and emotionally overwhelming. I have been assisting my neighbour with the property since it was sitting vacant, and Alex was referred to me by a friend. Thankfully, Alex stepped in and immediately put us at ease.

From the beginning, Alex was friendly, approachable and easy to communicate with. He took the time to understand the situation and was compassionate and respectful throughout the entire process. Communication was timely and helpful, and he was transparent about pricing from the outset. The work was completed on an hourly rate, which ended up closely matching the initial estimate provided, something we genuinely appreciated given the scale of the project.

This was far from a standard garden tidy-up. The scope of work was enormous and included the removal of a gigantic philodendron that had been growing beneath a pergola for approximately 30 years and had become deeply intertwined through brickwork and surrounding structures. The team also completed extensive hedge clean-up of an overgrown jasmine creeper, removed a significant amount of rubbish hidden throughout the garden and excavated sections of the property to level the ground while removing and smoking out stumps and roots.

What impressed me most was the work ethic and attitude of Alex and his crew. The boys worked incredibly hard, putting in long days over approximately seven days to bring the garden back to life. Despite the physically demanding nature of the work, they remained positive, professional and genuinely committed to achieving the best outcome possible.

The transformation was remarkable. What had once felt like an overwhelming and neglected space became something manageable, cared for and restored again. More than simply completing landscaping work, Alex and his team helped bring peace of mind during what was already a difficult time for the family.

I would confidently recommend Urban Earth Landscape to family and friends and would not hesitate to engage them again in the future.
