The Little Cupcake Co. - Hallett Cove

I had the pleasure of attending the grand opening of The Little Cupcake Co in Hallett Cove on Friday 22nd May at 7am and was blown away by the support this little local business received. For a newly opened suburban shopfront, the line was incredible and such a testament to the excitement surrounding their opening.

The cupcakes were absolutely divine, the coffee was wonderful and the atmosphere was warm and welcoming from the moment I walked in. It was clear straight away that a lot of care, passion and hard work has gone into creating this space.

What also impressed me was how reasonably priced everything was. My iced latte was just $5, with only a small 50 cent surcharge for milk alternatives, which is becoming hard to find these days. Cupcakes were $3.50 each and the loaded cookies were $5 - great value considering the quality and portion sizes.

I enjoyed it so much that I found myself back again the following Saturday to grab another coffee, some loaded cookies and try four more cupcake flavours. Safe to say I’m hooked!

What really stood out to me though was the owner and the genuine level of customer service. She was so lovely to deal with and took the time to walk me through the entire cake ordering process as I’m now looking at ordering a cake for my upcoming birthday. She showed me the different cake sizes, explained the options available and went above and beyond to make sure I left feeling confident and informed before leaving.

The cakes themselves were also very well priced. The cake I am currently considering is around the $120 mark, which I found very reasonable for a custom celebration cake. They also offer a gorgeous bento cake and cupcake package for $65, giving people options to suit different budgets and occasions.

It is so refreshing to come across a business where the product quality matches the customer experience. The Little Cupcake Co feels like more than just a bakery - it already feels like a special local spot that people will keep coming back to.

I’m so excited to see this business thrive in Hallett Cove and cannot wait to be back again soon.
