Pizzateca is one of those places that never disappoints.

I honestly couldn’t tell you how many times I’ve been here over the years, but every single visit has been fantastic. Whenever I’m craving pizza, I’ll happily make the trip down to McLaren Vale because nowhere else quite hits the spot like Pizzateca.

The pizzas are fresh, authentic and consistently delicious. You can tell they focus on quality ingredients and keeping things simple. The food is the kind that keeps you talking about it on the drive home and planning your next visit before you’ve even left.

What makes Pizzateca so special is the whole experience. It’s the perfect place for a long afternoon with friends, enjoying a few drinks in beautiful McLaren Vale. The atmosphere is relaxed, vibrant and welcoming, with a setup that feels effortlessly cool without trying too hard.

During summer, their pop-up at Aldinga Beach is an absolute must as well. Great pizza, great drinks and one of the best locations in South Australia. It doesn’t get much better.

The drinks menu is brilliant, the service is always friendly, and no visit is complete without stopping at the gelati cart on the way out. Even when you’re completely full, somehow there’s always room for gelati.
