Golden Boy - Adelaide

If you’re looking for the best Thai in Adelaide, look no further than Golden Boy.

My partner and I visited for my birthday lunch, and it was one of the best dining experiences we’ve had. If there’s one piece of advice I can give, it’s to order the “Tuk Tum” Feed Me menu. It is an absolute must. $84pp for non stop food, including desert.

I’ve heard that during busy dinner services and peak seasons the “Tuk Tuk” Feed Me menu is often required, and after experiencing it for myself, I can completely understand why. The food just kept coming. Every time we thought we were finished, another incredible dish would arrive at the table. By the end, we were absolutely stuffed and practically rolling out the door.

Every dish was packed with flavour, beautifully presented and perfectly balanced. The food was fresh, authentic and genuinely some of the best Thai cuisine I’ve ever had.

What really elevated the experience was the service. The team were attentive, knowledgeable and genuinely invested in ensuring everyone was enjoying their meal. They placed a strong emphasis on dietary requirements and preferences, checking in regularly and tailoring the experience to suit the table.

Golden Boy gets everything right: exceptional food, top-tier service and an atmosphere that keeps you wanting to come back. Adelaide has some fantastic restaurants, but for Thai food, Golden Boy sits firmly at the top of my list.

The first time we went, we spent roughly $200-$250 for 2 people on the feed me, with a few drinks (lunch time)

The second time we went, for 4 people on the Feed me menu, it was roughly $600 inclusive of cocktails (dinner time)
