Crispy Italian Bar - Burleigh Heads

Crispy Italian Bar was one of the highlights of our Gold Coast holiday.

We visited with a group of eight friends and from the moment we walked in, it felt like we’d stumbled across a little slice of Italy. The restaurant has such a warm, cosy atmosphere, with traditional Italian vibes, authentic food and Italian music playing throughout the venue. It was packed when we visited, but after eating there, it’s easy to see why.

The standout for our group was the giant rectangular pizzas. They were perfect for sharing and made the whole experience feel relaxed and social. The pizzas were incredibly fresh, full of flavour and exactly what you’d hope for from a genuinely authentic Italian restaurant.

Everything we ordered was delicious, and you could tell the ingredients were high quality. The food was simple in the best possible way, letting the flavours speak for themselves.

Despite how busy the restaurant was, the atmosphere was energetic rather than chaotic. There was a real buzz throughout the venue that added to the experience and made it feel like a place locals genuinely love.

And then there were the desserts. I’m still thinking about them. Even after a huge meal, they were impossible to resist and the perfect way to finish the evening.

If you’re visiting the Gold Coast and looking for authentic Italian food, Crispy Italian Bar is an absolute must. Great food, great atmosphere and one of those places that leaves you planning your next visit before you’ve even paid the bill.
