TreeClimb Kuitpo Forest ended up being one of the best Christmas gifts we’ve ever bought.
We were completely stuck trying to think of something different for the younger kids in the family, so instead of buying more toys, we purchased tickets for a group of 10 of us to spend the day at TreeClimb. It turned out to be an absolute winner.
What surprised me most was how much fun the adults had. We originally thought it would be something mainly for the kids, but before long everyone was laughing, challenging each other and getting involved.
There were four different courses, each with their own obstacles and challenges, which kept things interesting throughout the day. Every course felt a little different, so there was always something new to tackle. It was the perfect mix of fun, adventure and a little bit of friendly competition.
I’ll admit, I’m not the biggest fan of heights, so I was a little nervous before we started. But once you’re up there, the safety systems make you feel secure and it becomes more exciting than scary. There were definitely a few moments where I was questioning my life choices, but they ended up being some of the funniest parts of the day.
The setting itself is beautiful. Being surrounded by the towering trees of Kuitpo Forest makes the whole experience feel even more special and it’s a great way to get outdoors and away from screens for a few hours.
What started as a Christmas present turned into one of our favourite family days out. Everyone left with huge smiles on their faces and plenty of stories to tell afterwards.
If you’re looking for a gift that’s actually an experience rather than more stuff, or you’re after a fun day out with family and friends, TreeClimb Kuitpo Forest is an absolute must-do.
