If you’re looking for the best pizza in Cairns, look no further than Villa Romana.

Having lived in Cairns for several years and continuing to visit regularly, I’ve eaten at more restaurants than I can count, and Villa Romana remains one of my all-time favourites. No matter how many times I return, it’s always on my must-visit list.

The restaurant is almost always pumping, but once you’ve eaten there, it’s easy to understand why. The atmosphere is lively, welcoming and full of energy, creating the perfect dining experience whether you’re a local or visiting for the first time.

The pizzas are simply outstanding. Perfectly cooked bases, generous toppings and incredible flavour in every bite. It’s the kind of food you find yourself thinking about weeks later. In fact, even now, I’m still thinking about it.

What I love most is the consistency. Over the years, every visit has been just as good as the last. The food is always exceptional, the service is friendly and efficient, and the restaurant has maintained the same quality that made me fall in love with it when I lived in Cairns.

Situated along the Esplanade, it’s the perfect place to sit back, enjoy a meal and soak up everything that makes Cairns special.

I’ve recommended Villa Romana to countless friends and family over the years, and not one person has been disappointed. If you’re visiting Cairns, this place should be at the top of your list. For me, it’s still the best pizza in town.
