A Hard Working Plumber (Farouk)

I had a nasty damp smell coming from the backyard for months. Every time it rained heavy the backyard felt like a swamp. I called a guy over and it turned out the old stormwater pipe was completely cracked and blocked with tree roots.

The first few plumbers I called didnt even want to crawl under the deck to look at it. All of them gave me massive quotes. But Farouk got straight in there. He dug out the old broken pipe, replaced the whole section with pvc, and put in an overflow gully.

Photo shows the work before he backfilled the dirt. It took him about half a day and didn't charge an arm and a leg. No more smell and the place actually dries up now.
