Bathroom Renovation from Drab to Fab - Plumbwide Plumbing - Our Bathroom Reno Done Right

We shopped around for several bathroom renovation quotes but kept striking out with some tradies that didn't even turn up, others tried to talk us out of the things we actually wanted (a bath was my top priority, non-negotiable), and the rest were either suspiciously under budget or way overpriced. We live in a very old home, so we had a set budget and really wanted this done properly, not just patched over.

What really stood out is that Luke isn't just your everyday plumber - he project-coordinates all the trades needed for a full bathroom reno himself, from carpenters, plasterers, tilers and waterproofing through to electrical, right down to the final installation of the fittings, piping and plumbing work. Having one person managing the whole job start to finish took so much of the stress out of it for us.

We only have one bathroom and toilet in the house, so being without them for around 3 weeks was honestly our biggest worry going in. Luke sorted us out with a portable all-in-one toilet and shower set up out the back, plumbed in temporarily with hot water and amenities, which made the whole process so much less stressful than we expected.

All of his tradies turned up on time every single day, were friendly and genuinely good to have around the house, and the job was finished on schedule and exactly to the quote — no surprise costs, no blowouts. He wasn't the cheapest quote we got, and he wasn't the most expensive either, just really reasonable for the quality and scope of what we needed. And of course, we got our much-dreamed-about bath in the end!
