We have a 15-month-old German Shepherd x Ridgeback, and as we both work from home, finding the right daycare has honestly been a game changer for us. We started doing doggy daycare here a few months ago, just once a week for a half day on Fridays, and the difference in our girl has been amazing to watch.
She was quite scared of other dogs when we first started, but the staff have been so patient and good at reading her that she's now confident, social, and genuinely loves her Fridays. She's learned to play with dogs of all shapes, sizes, and breeds, and watching her come out of her shell has been so rewarding. It also means we get a proper stretch of time to focus on work without worrying about her being bored or lonely at home if we are away.
We love the staff here, they clearly know what they're doing and genuinely care about each dog's personality, not just a one-size-fits-all approach. They take the time to match dogs up so the group stays settled and fun rather than overwhelming for the more anxious pups. Pickle has even done an overnight stay with them when we went away for a concert, and we didn't worry about her once, which says a lot.
The facilities are great, and it's not just the one location either, they've got other branches across NSW, not just Kangy Angy, so it's easy to recommend them to friends wherever they are. Prices are affordable for the level of care and attention you get, which makes it accessible for regular use rather than just an occasional treat.
I've already recommended them to a friend with a new puppy. Whether you need regular socialisation, a day to yourself, or even a longer stay while you're on holiday, this is exactly the kind of place you want looking after your dog. Couldn't recommend them more highly.
