Tintsafe

We had Peter from Tintsafe come out to tint the windows on our house, and he's honestly one of the most knowledgeable and easygoing tradies we've dealt with. From the first phone call, he took the time to talk us through the different tint options, explaining the difference between the shades in plain, simple terms rather than just pushing whatever was easiest for him to install.

Our main issue was the afternoon sun hitting the living room and kitchen. The glare on the TV screen made it almost unwatchable some days, and the heat coming through the glass was making certain rooms unbearable in summer. Peter recommended a tint that cut the glare right down without making the house feel dark or closed off, which was exactly the balance we were after. He also picked up on the slight colour cast some of the cheaper films can give off and steered us toward one that kept the glass looking clear and natural from both inside and out.

The difference afterwards was honestly bigger than we expected. The glare on the TV is gone, the rooms stay noticeably cooler through the day, and from the street the windows still look clean, with no dark or mirrored finish. A few months later we had him back to do the bedrooms too, since we were so happy with the first result, and he matched the tint perfectly across the whole house.

What really stands out with Peter is how friendly and approachable he is. He's happy to answer questions, never in a rush, and clearly someone who knows his product inside and out. He turned up on time both visits, worked cleanly, and left no mess behind.

Two jobs in and we wouldn't go anywhere else for tinting. We'll be calling you again if we ever add more windows to the list.
