I found Robert from Forward Timber Group through HiPages after getting quotes from about five different flooring companies, and I’m so glad I went with him.

The biggest challenge for me was matching my existing laminate. I was really particular about the colour because I didn’t want the new flooring to stand out, and every other company I spoke to basically told me it couldn’t be matched. Most of them just showed me the closest option they had and said that was the best they could do.

Robert was the only one who didn’t just give up.

He spent the time looking into different suppliers and different ranges to see what was available. He kept me updated the whole way through and was really patient while I decided because I wanted to get it right. In the end, he managed to find a laminate that was an almost perfect match.

Honestly, I didn’t think it was possible after what everyone else had told me, so I was really impressed with the effort he put in.

Communication was excellent from start to finish. He always replied quickly, explained everything clearly, and made the whole process really easy. The installation was completed in a single day, and the quality of the workmanship was fantastic. The flooring looks seamless, the staircase nosings were finished beautifully, and everything was left clean and tidy afterwards.

The whole job, including supplying and installing the laminate flooring and matching staircase nosings, was $1,800, which I thought was very reasonable considering the quality of the work and the amount of effort that went into finding the right product.

I’d easily recommend Robert to anyone looking for new flooring. He’s a genuine honest gem, reliable, and most definitely goes the extra mile to get the best result. After speaking to so many other flooring companies who told me what I wanted wasn’t possible, I’m really glad I found him!
