Jason Leong is probably my favorite comedian. I have seen several of his shows in Sydney.
Some of jokes are available on YouTube as well. The one below is not bad la..

What I like about him is he is relatable. He was originally a doctor by training in Malaysia and decided to become a comedian. Guess for some of us, this alone is admirable. Walked away from a stable and coveted career to pursue his dream.
Many of his jokes are about life and observations in daily life and his childhood. Also funny how he often compared Malaysia to Singapore. Ha. I also like the fact that his shows are more or less family friendly. I have taken our teenagers to his show and they enjoyed it.
He is famous but probably not as famous as say Ronny Chieng. As a result, his shows are more affordable. Earlier in the year (2026), ticket to his show in Sydney was $50 (in Chatswood and Newtown). He even ran a promotion ($25 per ticket in Newtown).
A funny story was when I took the family to Enmore Theatre for his show. The kids were asking where were our seats. They were naturally expecting to sit far far back in the corner behind a column given my preference for value. Instead, because it was the same price for all the seats in the theatre, they were surprised to seat just 4 rows from the stage and close to the centre. Their old man managed to get a "bougie" ticket for the first time in their memory. Ha... Thanks Dr Leong. Love you show. Hope you keep coming back to Sydney.
If you are after a good laugh, look up his videos on YouTube. If you like his videos, go and see his shows.
