Ice cream on Monday/Tuesday in Chatswood (Sydney) - Lily Ice Cream

We were walking around in Chatswood today (Monday).

We came across Lily Ice Cream. Same location as former Ben and Jerry's in The Concourse.

What attracted us was the sign - Buy 1 get 1 free. However, the offer is only available on Monday and Tuesday.

Looking at the price, one scoop in a cup or cone costs $6.5. Then $7.5 for 2 small scoops, and $8.5 for 2 regular scoops. 3 regular scoops for $10.5.

What the hell ? How different is a small scoop vs. a regular scoop. Why not do away with it ?

We ended up with 2 small scoops in cones. To be honest, the two small scoops were good (sizeable) enough. for me tasting each flavor is more important than gorging on a bigger ball of ice cream. Haha ended up saving $1.

I had the Hokkaido Milk and Blackberry flavor. Apparently the Blackberry flavor won an award at the Easter Show (?). See Pic 2. Alice had two chocolaty flavors.

I am no ice cream connoisseur. But the flavors were creamy and yummy.

Again, you know me. I am a value for money guy. It was really nice to have a place to sit down and spend $7.5 for 2 ice cream cones. The value for money aspect would benchmark very well against any ice cream shop in Sydney !!! Hope the offer lasts :)

If I am not mistaken, Lily Ice Cream is someone's baby, not part of a big chain. Give them some support people.
