Our family first met Da Shan and his family many years ago when they ran a Japanese restaurant in Sunnybank (southern suburb of Brisbane).

Over the years we continued to visit Da Shan when he moved to Fortitude Valley.  

Da Shan is a character in himself - he often personally serves at the Sushi and Sashimi Bar - he would greet us as:  PLUMBER (my partner was a plumber) - I don't think he actually knew our names and would often sing opera as he worked preparing our food - we would simply ask him to feed us & he would!

Food is exceptional - always fresh - & delicious!

Prices are a little high - but then you can expect that with such a wonderful menu and awesome service!

Highly recommend.

Oyama is located in the street below All Hallows High School - opposite the park.  Easy parking in side streets nearby.
