Dan Smith Electrical recently completed a switchboard upgrade and several other electrical jobs at my property, and I couldn’t be happier with the service he provided. From the initial quote through to completion, Dan was professional, reliable, and extremely knowledgeable.

The switchboard upgrade was completed efficiently and to a very high standard, with everything clearly explained throughout the process even the period that the power would be switched off. Dan also carried out more electrical work around the house including downlights & powerpoints, and every job was done with great attention to detail and care. It’s clear he takes pride in his workmanship and genuinely wants the best outcome for his customers.

What really stood out was his pricing which was around the $90 - $100 per hour plus materials. The quote was competitive compared to others I received, and there were no hidden surprises with extra costs. Despite the affordable price, the quality of work and level of service exceeded my expectations.

Dan arrived on time, kept the work areas clean and tidy, and communicated well throughout the job. It’s refreshing to deal with a tradesperson who is honest, dependable, and easy to work with!
